Words cannot express the range and depths of our emotions after the tragedy at the Boston Marathon. But in prayer we can begin to find a way forward through violence and death. This is why we’re inviting everyone who’s around to come to Fleet Feet at 2239 Taylorsville Rd on Wednesday at 6:00 for a time of prayer that begins with words and fellowship and continues in a group run at 6:30.

On Monday Evening we will be holding a community wide Run to Unite Louisville’s Endurance athletic community in light of the Upcoming Derby Marathon.  Runners or cyclists can meet at KEN COMBS RUNNING SHOP on Shelbyville Rd. at 6pm if they would like to run the whole route (roughly 5 miles) or they can meet at BLUE MILE in the Highlands for a 3 mile light run. The route will take runners from KEN COMBS through Seneca to FLEET FEET SPORTS and then up Bardstown Rd. to BLUE MILE from where we will end at FLANNIGAN’S ALE HOUSE on BAXTER AVE.

***ALL PROCEEDS FROM FLANNIGAN’S ON MONDAY NIGHT GO TO SUPPORT THE BOSTON ATHLETES/SPECTATORS THAT WERE INJURED. SO WHETHER YOU DECIDE TO RUN OR NOT, MEET AT FLANNIGAN’S FOR A BOSTON LAGER BETWEEN 7PM AND 10PM MONDAY EVENING!

FOR INFO EMAIL Runningmango@msn.com or call Ryan at (443)223-7334.  Thank you all for your support and prayers and keep sending them out to our running brethren! GODSPEED

A special thanks to Blue Mile, Ken Combs, and Fleet Feet for opening up their shop and to Flannigan’s Ale House for opening up their doors and hearts on such short notice!
